Overview

Eden Local Strategic Partnership has refreshed the Community Strategy for Eden by developing a 3 year Action Plan for its implementation. In January 2007, action planning workshops led to a draft Action Plan which was subject to a public consultation. This included: - The action plan being sent to the full LSP database, which includes some 250 organisations and individuals. Highlighting the consultation through press coverage and the home page of this website. - Presentations about the Action Plan at community meetings such as Neighbourhood Forums.LSP working groups considered the consultation results alongside a sustainability appraisal and a check of links to community and parish plans to recommend changes to the Action Plan. The LSP Steering Group then agreed to prioritise the Action Plan using the LSP's three priorities. The Strategy was launced at the LSP's Annual General Meeting on January 7, 2008. To request a copy a printed copy of the refreshed Community Strategy and Action Plan please contact the LSP Officer by telephone on 01768 817817 or via email on lsp.services@eden.gov.uk.
