Overview

The Cumbria Transport Infrastructure Plan 2022 – 2037 (CTIP) outlines how Cumbria will aspire to be known as one of the best places to walk and cycle in the UK. The CTIP identifies five Strategic Cycling and Walking Corridors across the County as a focus for delivering improved infrastructure.

Cumbria County Council want to develop the best possible plans for cycling and walking improvements, to ensure that the benefits to our communities and visitors are maximised and are looking at ways to improve cycling and walking routes along two of these Strategic Cycling and Walking Corridors.

 

Why your views matter

This consultation focuses on the Heart of the Lakes and the Hadrian’s Wall and West Coast corridors. You can choose to answer questions regarding just one or both corridors as part of this consultation.
