Overview

The purpose of the Affordable housing policy is to set out the Council’s approach to delivering affordable housing in accordance with the Local Development Framework and national policy. This includes a range of approaches, standards and mechanisms required to deliver affordable housing which meets local needs and contributes towards mixed sustainable communities and a balanced housing market.

Why We Are Consulting

In order to gain people's views on the mechanisms and processes proposed to enable affordable housing through the District.

What Happens Next

The results will be taken into consideration when the Policy is finalised.
