Maryfell play area sits within the heart of the residential area of Maryfell in the picturesque market town of Sedbergh. It is one of only two play areas in the town and is therefore a valuable play facility for the local residents of Maryfell and surrounding properties. The current play area is dated and worn down from many years of use and in need of complete renovation to be an exciting and fun place for local children. It sits beside a green space currently used for informal play.

In partnership with the local community, South Lakeland District Council and Sedbergh Parish Council are raising funds to install a new play area and make better use of the green space next to it. We would like to hear your views on how we could improve these areas.

What Happens Next

The results of the survey will be used to help us with planning the next stage of the improvements including tendering for and designing the new play area.

The results will also be reported on the consultation section of the SLDC website
